    Posted: 23 Sep 2007 at 9:43am
I have a 2995 Durango trailer with the nan king tires on brought the trailer neww end 2005. I have had 2 tire without warning come apar at the threats.I called my dealer East End  RV on Long Island and he said he was having problems with tires and changing alot out.I called Tireco(nanking) who supplies the tires to KZ they without question shipped me 5 different tires free. The 1st tire damaged my lower panel cost to repair $300 dollars, cost of replacement tire $100. My next trip the second tire came apart thank god no damage this time. I checked the fedral site and found a problem with nan king tires coming apart.also they do not meet feds standards. I spoke to Tireco and KZ as to why they won't pay for mounting the tires and they claim there is no problem.IF not why send me 5 new tires without seeing my old tires and want the old ones back? Please if you have these tires check them cause they come apart with no warningAngryExclamation

Be thankful you got as much cooperation as you have. I have a KZ New Vision toy-hauler, and blew out one of the chinese tires on our first trip, about 1200 miles from home. Called the dealer, then the factory who directed me to call Tireco.  They said to replace them, etc., send them the info and the tires that I replaced. After a month, they decided the only bad tire was the blown one, sent a check for 80% of the cost of one new tire. I replaced them with Michelin xps ribbed, and they said going to the LT was an upgrade, and there wasn't anything wrong with the other four "used tires" that I sent back. I spent over $1100. to feel safe coming home, and they sent a check for $171., and I still haven't seen the four "good" tires returned. KZ has been sent copies of everything as well, and so far hasn't even acknowledged my letter. I've posted running comments about this on the "escapees forum, in the HDT section. I'm really starting to doubt that KZ even cares about a customer, once the sale is made.

Please let me know of other KZ owners having issues with their tires.  I am an attorney and am gathering evidence.
